WeWantDessert.com held its First Tasting Event on October 18, 2008. It was a huge success! The invitations were sent via e-mail and regular mail to a select group of friends who enjoy great desserts. Over 25 people attending the Tastings Event, held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Jeanie Kurzrok, Founder, President & Chief Baker set a beautiful table (see Photo Gallery Pictures). The red tablecloth was adorned by multi-colored leaves, but the best part was the offerings.

The Tastings included 11 Mini-Cheese Cakes, their flavors: Plain, Anise, Chocolate Chip, Peppermint, Amaretto, Bacardi Rum, Cinnamon, Coconut, Orange, Red Raspberry, and Strawberry. Also available were a Cherry Pie, a Blueberry Pie, a Apple/Pear Diabetic Pie, and a Peach Pie.

There were 2 Strudels as well, a 1 Foot and a 2 Foot length. And to top everything off a Cake Plate housing about 60 Rugalach.

Each person arriving was asked to sign the Guest Book and was given a Score Card and asked to Score each variety.

By 5:00 PM there was very little left, although Jeanie had some extras hidden away to allow those who wished to take a small sampling home with them.

38 Orders were placed that evening.
